Stampo — Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-07-16

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Stampo, a personal postcard-collecting application and its related services (the “Service”), operated by its individual developer (the “Developer”, “we”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Stampo lets invited users photograph physical postcards, store them with a location, and view them on a map. The Service is provided free of charge, as a personal project, with no promise of availability, support, or continued operation.

2. Accounts

3. Your content

4. Acceptable use

You must not: probe, overload, or disrupt the Service; attempt to access other users’ data; reverse the invite system; automate account creation; or use the Service for anything unlawful.

5. Termination

The Developer may suspend or terminate any individual account, or discontinue the entire Service, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. This includes deleting stored content. Where practical, reasonable notice will be given before discontinuing the entire Service, but this is a courtesy, not an obligation.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and content.

Keep your own copies of your photos. The Service is not a backup, and termination (by either side) may permanently delete stored content.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those jurisdictions, the above applies to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Indemnification

You will defend and hold the Developer harmless from claims arising out of your content or your breach of these Terms.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

The Developer may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Developer’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes shall be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms: open an issue on the project repository or contact the Developer at the address published on the App Store listing.
